Why we built Soma
We're two young Zimbabwean co-founders who grew up watching school administration drown in paperwork. Registers, physical fee books, written notices home — the work was enormous and errors were inevitable.
We built Soma because we believed Zimbabwean schools deserve the same quality of digital infrastructure as any school in London or Singapore. Not a foreign platform poorly adapted, but something designed from scratch for our context — our curriculum, our fee structures, our parent-teacher relationships.
